Foil Drive x AFS Assist Mast

Built around the AFS Infinity platform, this integrated mast combines ultra-high modulus carbon construction with a fully internal Foil Drive High Power Motor installation, creating a cleaner, quieter and more efficient ride. The INFINITY 80 uses a hybrid UHM + HM carbon construction, combining Ultra High Modulus carbon for exceptional stiffness and precise control of flex and twist, with High Modulus carbon for strength and durability under the demands of foil assist.

1. Choose Your System

You’ll need to decide between the Fusion, MAX or Slim Foil Drive. The Fusion is our most powerful system. With the power and runtime of an Efoil, the lightness and adaptability of an Assist, the Fusion earns its name as the perfect blend of both worlds. The MAX is our most popular kit, designed as the ultimate all-rounder with extended runtime and plenty of power for every session. The Slim, is a lightweight option created for riders who want a minimal setup and quick bursts of performance.

2. Choose your battery

Each system can be paired with different battery sizes to suit how you ride. Larger batteries deliver longer runtime, while smaller batteries keep the weight down, perfect for performance foiling and a more agile feel on the water. Whether you’re chasing endurance or chasing waves, the right battery choice ensures your Foil Drive moves with you.

3. Choose Your Motor

Your motor sets the tone for your ride. The Standard motor is great for most ride styles, or if you’re chasing longer runs, more torque, and that extra surge of power, the High-Power motor is your upgrade. Some products come standard with the High Power Motor (Aluminium Integrated), where as others you'll need to add to cart, check product inclusions for more!

Why is the motor positioned 150 mm below the mast plate?

The motor position has been carefully engineered to provide reliable propeller immersion during assisted take-offs while allowing the propeller to clear the water more easily once you're flying. This helps minimize drag and preserves the natural surfing feel while riding waves.

Will I outgrow Foil Drive as I improve?

No. Foil Drive is built to progress with you. The same setup that helps with your first flatwater flights can later be used for surf foiling, winging, downwind runs, wake foiling, and pumping. As you improve, you use less assist rather than replacing your gear.

How is Foil Drive different from a traditional eFoil?

Unlike traditional eFoils, Foil Drive is lightweight, modular, and adjustable. It integrates with your existing foil gear instead of replacing it with a large, dedicated board. As your skills progress, you simply reduce the assist until you’re riding unpowered, making it a system you won’t outgrow.

Do I need prior foiling or board sports experience?

No prior foiling experience is required. While experience in board sports can help, Foil Drive allows first-time foilers to learn at their own pace, using stable equipment and calm conditions to build confidence and muscle memory quickly.

What carbon construction does the mast use?

The mast is constructed using a hybrid Ultra High Modulus (UHM) and High Modulus (HM) carbon layup. This combination delivers exceptional stiffness for precise control while maintaining the durability required for foil assist riding.
