The Foil Drive Assist MAX × NORTH UHM80 Integrated Mast Bundle is the flagship in hybrid electric assist foiling, offering maximum thrust, extended runtime, and ultimate versatility. Perfect for heavier riders, smaller boards, or longer sessions, the Assist MAX excels across surf, wing, downwind, wake, and flatwater foiling.
The North Ultra High Modulus Carbon Mast is 25% thinner with a 14% shorter chord length than the AF80 FD Mast, dramatically reducing drag and enhancing manoeuvrability. This allows faster acceleration onto the foil and smoother, more efficient glide once airborne.
Featuring a state-of-the-art monocoque design, the motor pod is seamlessly integrated 18 cm from the baseplate—perfectly balanced for optimal propulsion while keeping the propeller high enough to avoid interference when foiling. At 80 cm ride height, it’s ideal for assisted prone surf, downwind foiling, and extended rides with minimal battery consumption.
