Low Range Propeller 6

Low Range Propeller 6

The LR6 Low Range Propeller is designed to deliver maximum thrust when you need it most during take-offs, bogged-down moments, or near stall recovery. Wider and longer by 6% compared to the standard propeller, it increases surface area and overall diameter to generate more low-speed power and smoother surface motoring.

Think of it like switching from a standard car tire to an off-road tire. While the off-road tire may be slightly slower at top speed, it grips instantly and gets moving faster from a standstill. The LR6 works on the same principle, trading a bit of top-end speed for superior low-end traction and control.

Frequently asked questions

Why are there propeller options?

The Standard Black Props are a great all-rounder, the additional upgrade propellers are a great option for riders wanting to fine tune their setup. Think of the Standard Propeller like a bike with three gears, versatile, covering both low and high speeds as a solid all-rounder. The propeller upgrades are like adding more gears, either extra low-speed power or higher top-end speed. Each option has its benefits and trade-offs, but they can make a big difference to your session.

Why choose the Low Range 6% LR6 (Blue) propellers?

Choose Low Range 6% LR6 (Blue) for more low-end thrust and easier take-off. Great for improved near stall/low speed recovery.

Does the LR6 improve battery life?

They can in the right conditions. The LR6 is more efficient at lower speeds and during take-off, which can help reduce power spikes when getting on foil. If you spend most of your time in low-speed or technical conditions, you may see improved efficiency and runtime. At higher speeds, efficiency gains are reduced.

Is the LR6 better for heavier riders?

Yes. The added low-end thrust makes it easier for heavier riders to get up on foil and maintain momentum at lower speeds. It is also a good option for smaller boards or foils where extra power is needed to lift.

Will the LR6 help with getting up on foil?

Yes. One of the main benefits of the LR6 is faster acceleration at low speeds, which helps you get up on foil more easily and with less effort.
